The safety data produced since its introduction into the solvent cleaning market has solidified trans DCE as a safe, sustainable replacement for ODSs, hazardous air pollutants, HFC-based substitutes and nPB. Robust summaries of the human health and environmental studies conducted on trans DCE have been submitted to the U.S. EPA High Production Volume (HPV) Challenge Program.
